Essential 5 Cognitively Demanding Mathematical Tasks: Case #1 This course is constructed around a classroom case of implementation of a cognitively demanding task. Teachers will examine the case of a Michigan PK - 3 teacher using a math task with her students, hear from the teacher as she debriefs the experience, and listen to commentary from Dr. Edward Silver as he also helps teachers understand what they have observed.
